OnChain Music lets you connect your Audius account and import your existing tracks directly. Your track titles, keywords, genre, mood, and artwork all come across automatically.

Before You Start

You will need an active Audius account with at least one public track.

Step-by-Step

1
Connect your Audius account

Go to My Account → Connected Accounts and click "Connect Audius." A popup will open asking you to log in with your Audius credentials. Once you approve, your account will appear in your connected accounts list. You only need to do this once. Your connection is saved permanently. To remove an Audius account, go to Connected Profiles.

2
Start a new upload

Go to Upload Music and work through the distribution options and agreements as normal. When you reach the file selection step, you will see two tabs: "Upload Files" and "Import from Audius."

3
Select your Audius account

Click the "Import from Audius" tab. Your connected Audius accounts will appear as cards. Click "Browse Tracks" next to the account you want to import from.

4
Choose tracks or albums

You can browse by individual tracks or switch to the Albums tab to select an entire album at once. Check the tracks you want to import. If you have a large catalog, use the search bar to filter by title. The total selected count always shows at the bottom.

5
Click Import

Click the Import button. Your tracks will begin importing from Audius in the background. You will see a progress indicator for each track. Once complete, click "Proceed to Metadata Entry."

6
Review and complete metadata

On the metadata step, your tracks will have many fields already filled in from Audius, like track title, artist, genre, mood, keywords, release date, and artwork. Review everything, fill in any remaining required fields (such as writers, publishers, and payees), and then finalize the release.

Tip: You can import from multiple Audius accounts in a single upload session. Just go back to the Audius tab and select a different connected account after your first import completes.
