Geneo Van Engers is a music producer, songwriter, and media professional based in the Pacific Northwest. Driven by the gritty, raw energy of rock and Pacific Northwest grunge, Geneo’s musical journey began at just 11 years old. He spent his formative years performing in various bands, honing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and sharp songwriter.Complementing his creative talent with deep industry knowledge, Geneo interned and worked in radio and broadcasting for Alpha Media in 2010. Expanding his technical expertise, he returned to school for music and media production, graduating in 2019. That same year, he co-founded the rock band Shade After Dark, which has since evolved into an active, ongoing studio project. Combining sharp audio production with a classic, driving rock edge, Geneo creates high-impact, narrative-driven music tailored for modern media and sync licensing.
